Today I went back to my old school, met some of my beloved secondary sch teachers. I met Miss Lena Lim at the bus stop outside my school, she asked me whether was I coping with my work well. I told her no, and she didn't seem surprised lol (Yeah, my intelligence cannot be compared with the physics queen. ~_~). Didn't manage to see my favourite teacher Mrs Ang, Chemistry teacher. But I met Mrs Lim Siew Luan my sec sch biology teacher!!! Yeah back in those days where u top until u sien of topping, now at jc, being crushed virtually is as easy as 1 2 3.
Today received my chemistry test. 8 1/2 upon 25. Seriously I expected above 12. But blame it on my pajiao-ness. I failed to differentiate (VI) with (IV). Yes. Laugh. I thought both were the same. Hell I must pay more attention while reading the questions.
Mistake 1 - Manganate (VI) and Manganate (IV) didn't see that both were actually different.
Mistake 2 - Complacency. I should have worked long before this test. Maybe this will teach me a lesson to study earlier.
Yes, I should really WORK/MUG.
Today's soccer match cancelled so didn't manage to take the photos. Did my maths tutorial and assignment in photog room with Minru and Kenneth. Hey Minru, thanks for teaching me arh. Haha.
Right~ Got to go to bed. Cya~

What I want.
Something simple. I just want to be a teacher when I graduate.
Its not simple, I'm alr facing problems with my work at my JC alr.
Sad case. No more time to blog!

On Inquisitiveness and choices made... was it correct or was it all wrong?
Is it ok to be over-inquisitive or what.
I dunno leh.
Have I made the right choice in coming into a JC? Or did my teachers lie to me? Or am I suited to a polytechnic lifestyle? I really dunno leh. I suddenly feel very depressed la.
I remember what Miss Gan told me today, "Don't let anything snowball, that includes your cca and your homework.". I really dunno larh. I really hope I can stop this slacky-ness and start mugging hard. But they say , "action speaks louder than words.".
Gah. I can't write on. Simply too tired and I've got to finish my work alr.

Chem SPA + maths test... -.- And the freaking ex bio textbook.
Lol today we had SPA mock test. It was pretty easy to do, except the fact that I hated that examiner who kept looking at my conical flask while I'm doing titration. Wah lao. My phenothallin ( wonder how u spell it) indicator was wicked. It had to sabotage me when I was titrating the two solutions. Turned pink, turned colourless, turned pink again, then colourless, then turn dark pink.
@#$%^&*() wtf. It had to happen when the examiner was looking at me. The end point was supposed to be PALE PINK damn it. What the hell. But the questions were easy larh. Easy to do, but last question didn't manage to finish it. 1 mark question -.-.
Then went on to maths test. WAH THAT killed me man. 2 questions I virtually didn't do larh. Stupid parametric equations. How the hell to do sia, I'm so weak at parametric equations lor. Time didn't permit me to do the function question that I knew how to do. Sway sia.
On to PW lesson. Zhenyan was laughing all the way during PW lor. So long never see the way she laugh liao. Cos it's unique kae? Lol I'm not trying to make a point here or what, just that her laughter is really ZAI lah. Pamela could be the next Priscilla from PAE lor. Everytime make Zhenyan laugh. Wah siao. And Zhenyan pro also, PI got HIGH M.E WTF? LOL. Pamela was cursing away that Zhenyan's PI touched on a sensitive issue and kept grumbling and grumbling that Miss Lee was sick in the mind or what. LOL la. And we laughed on the fact that there were many "Gd!", "Very Gd!" , and "Yes!" in Zhenyan's PI. Okay la then Pamela wanted me to take the pictures for her PI to put on her blog. Dowan put them here cos I lazy =D.
Today couldn't hand up Chem assignment cos I forgot all about it.
PE was fun, except that it was really tiring. Circuit training rox!!! Omg man its like ages that I haven't had circuit training?
OMG and I'm so jealous that Minru got her Bio textbook alr!!!! Wah I'm so jealous!!! Lol. Ex sia. Wonder how to tell my mum that I want to buy a textbook that costs 69 dollars -.-.
Right. Macdonald's for dinner! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Then on to Chemistry assignment and the stuffs that I need to do!!! W00t!

The day we all got squashed by a similar bio paper
Wahahah today was anything but bad.
Whole day was fun, in fact. Har, how to start lol.
First period- PW- submitting of 2nd draft of PI, I didn't change much of my PI expect for the things that Miss Lee wanted me to change. Forgot to staple first draft onto my second draft -.- how forgetful again. Lol.
2nd - Lunch lecture. This lecture was actually made up by our most famous "chubby chubby" Wei Guang. I still remember how this term came about.
WG: Cher we need to rush to another lecture!
Mrs Lim [concerned]: huh?! what lecture?
WG: lunch lecture
Lol this was lifted off directly from Pamela's blog, credits to her.
Lame. I suddenly became the joke of the class together cuz I kept asking why why why. And you know, Glendon suddenly got pissed and called me to shut up lol. WAHAHA glendon, not on purpose la, you know, I'm rather inquisitive ;D.
3rd - Biology lecture. Not another summary map we have to finish, but actually quite easy la, just a diagram to summarise nia. Learnt Calvin's cycle and Kreb's cycle today.
4th- Maths lecture! Lol the lecturer was pissed today. She got pissed with 3 boys in front of where our class was sitting because they were talking non-stop.
Boys: Chatter chatter.....
Lecturer : You 3 boys better stop talking if not you all see me after lecture.
Boys (ignores) : Chatter chatter...
Lecturer : I told you boys to stop talking. See me after the lecture.
Wow, how tolerant is she man LOL.
5th - Chinese!!! Miss Gan lor. Another lesson that I can shrug past. I simply hate Chinese.
6th- On to the joker Mrs Lim!!! Chemistryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! I can't imagine she was 15minutes late. Imagine the amount of time??? We could do like 2 questions on the tutorial??!! Haha joking larh, Mrs Lim so nice, how can say that of her? We did our atomic structure notes and Thomas was rather inquisitive.
Mrs Lim : There you see, its in the inner shell so need more energy blah blah blah
Thomas : Cher can write quantum shell?
Mrs Lim : Also can, but here write inner shell also can.
Thomas : Cher, then can write inner quantum shell?
Mrs Lim + class : ...............
Thomas definitely must be Thomas la. The usual guai kia + intelligent person.
THEN!!!
THE MOMENT OF .......?
Biology Olympiad selection test lor.
Killed all of us.
First few questions were like the normal O level paper MCQ questions............. until the last 10 questions I sighed. "Die lah. Tikam lor."
I was practically a survival quiz la. See who die first. Lol.
Oh ya I must write this down. Today, after class me, peiyi and vivien went for lunch so we had Apple Crumble! <3 Oh its so tasty lol. Then we had waffles+icecream, vivien didn't want any so I shared it with Peiyi. After that, Minru appeared in the canteen after finishing her lessons and she practically laughed while walking towards us. And you know what? She had a bloody ZAI video of our bio teacher Mr Owen Tan doing the non-cyclic photophosphorylation dance HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. OMG.
Now I have that video in my phone I can remember the concepts better ;D. LOL.
Right, better stop blogging. Tml still got to go to RJC for photo exhibition. buhbye.

Throw the Homework like the way javelineers throw javelins!
How I wished I could throw my homework out of the window.
Its too much. Oh my gosh and its piling up.
Lol, maybe I should stop dota-ing for a while so that I can start mugging, and mugging HARD. I seriously miss the times back at secondary school where my chemistry teacher would allow me to sleep in her class.
Today was like hell larh.
During maths lecture, my eyes were like dropping already, almost going to sleep already. Luckily that lecture was easy to understand so I paid "almost full attention".
On to CSE lecture, I didn't sleep nor did my eyes drop because I personally liked the subject very much.
On to Biology lecture after recess, was easy to grasp the "story" Mr Yeow mentioned about the non-cyclic phosphorylation about the so-called "idiot-proof" P680 and P700 photo.... uh I forget liao hahahah, but I remembered the procedure, so won't die so fast la.
Hell on earth was in the maths tutorial. I forgot to finish the Graphing Techniques tutorial. Not surprising I got a dressing down by Miss Lee but then she told me to manage my time well also.
Chemistry Lecture was fun, and the concept of reaction kinetics was pretty much easy to understand.
Chemistry test onwards during Chemistry tutorial. Die larh, question 2 didn't understand what it was trying to get at. But I thought i should fare so much better compared to the first test I did during first 3 months.
Biology tutorial after lunch, Owen Tan gave me a summary map to do. Oh well, he said already, "summary map good for understanding and memorising." So just bloody do lor.
GP lesson, last lesson of the day, was fun because we had groupings and we did the evaluation of the question in Paper 1.
Righto, thats all I got to mug again already.
Shuckkkkkkkks.

Tribute To Mr John Lim
Oh well, since I haven't had anything to write , so I'll just recall about my Secondary 4 E maths teacher, Mr John Lim.
He was the HOD of the Mathematics Department of my secondary school, Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School; he was one of a kind.
His enthusiasm in class is always at its highest, even though some in our class are less attentive and less interested in mathematics. There of course, I was rather attentive in his class and I was rather hardworking (rather, not) . Yeah so then even though at the point of time where most of my classmates didn't understand mathematics ( We were considered the lousiest class back then, basically because we took Design and Technology ), he was really patient, even treated our classmates expensive food( KFC, macs, yeah those kind ).
He was also very humble, liked to keep a low profile (which was one the the reason he quitted teaching after teaching us), although he was rich, it didn't matter to him because as I said, he like to keep a low profile.
The problem with him, is that he is JUST TOO NICE, TOO PATIENT. I felt very angry for him because some of our classmates took advantage of him; one of my classmates (I shall not say who, figure it out for yourself.), Mr John Lim promised a KFC treat after a remedial lesson on saturday, and you know what? That classmate of mine purposely came late, to skip class and to get a treat from him. Yeah that sucked. I felt so mad, I'm sure some of our classmates agree with me, that that guy's a sucker. Mr Lim didn't say anything and still said," ya go have your KFC ok? and remember to do the work that I gave you.". I was like wah, why so nice, let people take advantage of you.
It was definitely a tough time for me during sec 4 term 1, because my basics of maths was like shit. He then told me in private that he was rather disappointed in the term 1 results, as there was no A for our class( I got a b4 btw -.-). Then he asked me, "Ronald, do you want an A?" My answer was definitely a "yes". He wasn't surprised, because he knew I was hardworking. He said, " Ok, i'll give your class past year papers and other school papers to do, to improve on your class maths larh. ". At that point in time I was in his car cos he offered to give me a lift, but I rejected. After my prelims, I was pretty sure he had made a HUGE impact in my life because I got an A2, and I knew that without his guidance and patience, I would never ever have succeeded in the O's.
As he promised, he brought a lot of past year papers and other school papers. So that was the turning point. I started doing every single one of them, not even missing out one. I requested for more after finishing the papers, and any questions I would look for him after school to have him to explain everything to me. The process was tough, but I managed. I went for extra classes that he gave, night studies, and weekend studies in my school. He encouraged me along the way, cracking cold jokes and telling us about his past of how he worked. I was inspired by him even more that being a teacher was the right job for me when I finished my university. I still miss the curry puffs he treated those who came for weekend studies, those were the BEST!!! Not forgetting Mr Lim himself too.
I remember he was the "rival enemy" of our physics teacher, Miss Lena Lim. Hahaha, those two teachers were the jokers la. Our classmates called them "决对情侣" meaning the perfect couple cos they were always bickering. Not to mention they were friends too lah hahaha. I REALLY miss those days la. Mugging in my college is so tough now.
It was went he came that I totally changed my perception of maths. I liked maths, but I loved it when he came to teach, because he would always make maths lessons fun.
When I told him that I got an A1 for maths over the phone, he was overjoyed and told me that I deserved that A1. I thanked him several times back then.
I want to thank him for helping, encouraging me all the way during the judgement period of the O's. If I had a chance in the future, I would definitely follow his model in teaching.
Thank you so much, Mr John Lim.

Worried. Pessimistic
Great. I'm feeling really pessimistic now. I had to complete my functions tutorial by monday, and I had to show to Miss Lee. First 3 questions i could do them all, but 4th question- STUCK. What the hell, I wish I could stop procrastinating about my disadvantage because i don't have an additional maths background.
Hell on earth for this few days on the functions lecture and tutorials. This is killing me.
And I was wondering also that, how could I cope with the A levels if I could not cope with such minor stuff. Yeah minor stuff. From what I can see in my friends, this is MINOR stuff. They did it like they did it a thousand times; all seemed so easy to them while I'm the only one in my class staring at the blackboard during tutorial lesson blank, probably can't understand much from it.
I was glad that Miss Lee could afford her time to give me consultation, and I really was appreciative on it. Yeah, since I couldn't explain what is a FUNCTION. She patiently taught me and made sure I understood everything b4 I went back to finish my tutorial.
Yeah I think she's a great teacher, second to Mr John Lim from my old secondary school.
I just wished I have the determination to continue on and face the promos + A levels. To be a bit more daring, I just aimed to take H3 Chemistry. Hahaha xD
Shucks.

First post!
Yeah i'm back to blogging once again; decided to make a new blog anyway.
Today's the Friday the 13th. Not really auspicious to create a blog on this day. Hahah =x
Today's Biology test was tough. Despite the fact I studied for it.
I had extra lessons today, Chemistry by Mrs Lim lol. I got a B for my assignment wahaha. First time xD
I had a CIP program briefing today which had got to do with the SCAS. Yeah those people there taught us how to handle people and children with celebral palsy so it was quite a eye-opener to me. =) . Poor Chee Howe didn't get to go for the briefing with us haha. He had H3 Physics lesson to attend.
I really envy people who are intelligent and quick to think on their feet. Wished i had that virtue.
eheheh.
